Lounge chairs undergo certification attesting to their greenness and their certification for chemicals. The FTC wood frame certification is from the Forest Stewardship Council. Loungers and the companies that make them may have this designation. The McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry (MBDC) Cradle to Cradle™ Design Protocol, implemented since 2010, is a protocol used in certification processes by the Cradle Products Innovation Institute. This product certification takes a comprehensive approach to evaluating not only inputs to design but the entire production process. It insures contemporary American lounge chairs and a host of other products are produced using closed loop methods. Did you ever think so much thought on sustainable and green issues like renewable energy, product recovery, water stewardship, and third party social responsibility went into the lounger you are lounging on?
It's been five incredible years of my marriage today, and everything still looks the same; the love, the sanity, and the two beautiful lounge chairs my mom gifted us. I'm glad that even after these five years, we (my husband and I) have time for each other; we go out for work and in the evening we make sure that we talk to each other about the day. We speak of the things that both of proud of and certainly of the love that we have for each other, and, of course, we love to sit beside each other on the lounge chairs, enjoying the company.
